JD 6.8L Diesel Engine
The TSE Model DP100 is a trailer mounted single drum puller designed to transport; store and control the release and retrieval of synthetic pilot rope in transmission or distribution line stringing.
The puller is fully hydrostatic with infinite speed line pull control from zero to the maximum performance of the
machine. Power for the puller is obtained from the 161 horsepower Tier IV engine. The drum is driven by two (2)
independent hydraulic drives. The drives are composed of variable displacement axial piston motors; a spring-on hydraulic released holding brakes, a two stage planetary reducer and final chain drive. The drum is also equipped with a boom type level wind to ensure even spooling of the rope onto the drum, freewheeling pins, and a hydraulic caliper/bronze disc style brake.
